1999 Dues Notice

OBJECTIVES:

To promote interest and research in Nebraska in hardy nut-bearing plants, their culture and the techniques of propagating them.

To encourage the use of nut trees and shrubs in Nebraska agriculture and landscape plantings. Nut trees are dual purpose plants, producing many nuts in their early years and valuable timber when they are sold.

To increase general public knowledge in the value of nut trees as timber producers, ornamentals in an attractive landscape, and a source of food for wildlife.

Emphasis is also put on production of quality nuts for human consumption.

SIX TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP:

Nebraska Individual Membership--$10.00/year

Nebraska Family Membership--(one vote per family membership) $10.00/year

Life Membership--$200.00

Other U.S. States--$10.00/year

Canadian Membership--$15.00/year

Foreign Membership--$20.00/year
